DevOps Engineer (Python, AWS, Lamdba, Postgres, Serverless, ETL)

Finsera is building the next generation SaaS based Fintech Investment platform. Are you passionate about infrastructure as code ? Do you like working with data (lots of data) and Python ? We would love to hear from you.


You will be responsible for running our Devops / deployment infrastructure. You will contribute to the expansion of our ETL processing environment using Python / SQL running a serverless AWS platform. The more you can streamline our Devops operation the more time you can spend developing in Python with a team of data programming specialists.


Responsibilities



  • Experience building infrastructure as code / serverless AWS environments.

  • Automate operational and server provisioning workflows using Gitlab/Ansible/Kubernetes/CloudFormation.

  • Code ETL processes using Python and Lambda.

  • Code and automate repetitive tasks, processes using scripting languages bash/python.

  • Own the responsibility for deploying releases and conducting other operations maintenance.

  • Communicate with the rest of the Engineering for rolling out broad changes.

  • Enhance operations infrastructure such as Jenkins clusters, Gitlab, monitoring tools (Rollbar, Sentry), metrics tools such as Grafana/CloudWatch, Logging & Analytics tools such as SumoLogic/LogDNA/Prometheus.


Requirements



  • Good understanding of virtualization, networking, databases, message queueing, etc.

  • 2+ years of experience in AWS.

  • 1+ years experience with Docker and Lambda

  • 2+ years experience with common build and deployment (CI/CD) tools and practices

  • Experience with log analysis and monitoring tools such as Grafana, Splunk, ElasticStack, etc.

  • EC2, VPC, RDS, Route53, ELB, Lambda, Direct Connect, Kinesis, CloudWatch .

  • Familiarity with standard IT security practices such as encryption, certificates, and key management

  • Exposure to operating Postgres, Redis.

  • Experience working in AWS production environments.
