Software Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join our team supporting our customers as they tackle healthcare in the Cloud! In this role you will design, develop, and build secure and compliant solutions across our products to help our customers deploy and manage healthcare information in the Cloud.

What you’ll be doing

As a Software Engineer on a remote team, work directly with other Engineers, QA, Product Management, and Operations in an Agile environment

Develop elegant, efficient, and test-driven code while building features and supporting our products

Provide technical leadership and participate in architectural decision-making on new capabilities and automation

Drive new features from inception to design to production release

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience

Four years software engineering experience

Proven ability to deliver working software for a complex system

Ability to work effectively in a group setting using source control, performing code reviews, and pairing as necessary

Familiarity with Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes or AWS ECS Experience deploying in -IaaS environments, particularly AWS

Delivering software within a regulated industry (healthcare, finance, etc.) a huge plus

Experience with CloudFormation, Salt, Terraform, Ansible, or other DevOps tooling

Experience with the AWS CDK a huge plus (though not required)

Experience with computer security, information assurance, information security

Experience delivering production services built with Javascript, Typescript, Go or Python

Experience writing extensive tests with a passion for automation

Must be a US citizen
